Data reporting
Data reporting services built on data you trust
We connect the systems your numbers live in, agree what each figure means and send your managers the reports they need on a schedule, so nobody rebuilds the month end pack by hand. We already run the Microsoft platform most of those reports sit on, so your data stays secure and supported.

- 5,000+Endpoints managed across more than 300 client organisations
- 15Years supporting businesses from our Subiaco office
- 3Perth data centres run AustinCloud, so hosted data stays in WA
- ISO27001 and 9001 certified, so the way we handle your data is audited

01Where reporting breaks
Signs your reporting needs rebuilding
Most reporting problems are not about charts. They start with data spread across systems, definitions nobody wrote down and reports only one person can produce.
- 01
The month end pack takes days
Someone exports from the accounting system, the CRM and the job system, pastes it all into Excel and repairs the formulas that broke since last month.
FixSources connected once, so the pack refreshes itself and reaches the right inboxes on a set day.
- 02
Teams quote different numbers
Sales counts revenue when a deal is signed and finance counts it when it is invoiced. Meetings turn into arguments about whose figure is right.
FixOne agreed list of measures and definitions, written down and used in every report.
- 03
Reports depend on one person
The spreadsheet works because one analyst knows which tabs to update. When they are on leave, the report does not go out.
FixA documented data model and scheduled refresh, supported by our service desk rather than one person's memory.
- 04
Sensitive figures travel as attachments
Payroll, client and pricing data goes around by email as spreadsheets and sits in inboxes for years. The OAIC received 1,205 data breach notifications in the 2025 calendar year.
FixReports shared through Microsoft 365 with access set by group, so people see only what their role needs.
02What we set up
From scattered data to reports people use
We use the tools you already own where we can and add only what the job needs.
Dashboards and report packs
Interactive dashboards with drill down and filters for each audience, plus fixed packs in PDF or Excel for the board and external use.
Power BI / Excel / board packsConnections to your systems
Finance, CRM, job and project systems connected so reports draw on complete data. Where a system has no ready connector, we build one or schedule a reliable export.
Connectors / APIs / scheduled exportsData already in Microsoft 365
SharePoint lists and Excel files brought into reporting properly, instead of copied across by hand each month.
SharePoint / Excel / TeamsA home for combined data
When several systems need to be combined and their history kept, a data store in Azure or our private cloud, sized for your business.
Azure / AustinCloud / data warehouseAutomated delivery and alerts
Reports generated and sent on your schedule, with an alert when a figure crosses a threshold you set.
Schedules / alerts / Power AutomateAccess and governance

Reports for the people who make decisions
Each report is built around your own measures. These are the requests we see most.
Management and board packs
Monthly performance, cash and KPIs in the same format every month, ready to export for the board or the bank.
Financial reporting
Revenue, margin and cost by job, branch or client, drawn from your accounting system rather than retyped.
Operations and projects
Work in progress, utilisation and project status, so managers see a problem while they can still act on it.
Sales and pipeline
Pipeline, win rates and forecasts from your CRM, using the same definitions as finance.
Compliance summaries
Regular summaries for auditors, funders or regulators, produced from the same data every time.
Exception alerts
A message when a job goes over budget, stock runs low or a figure moves outside its normal range.

04How it works
From review to first report pack
You see a plan and a fixed quote before any build starts. Your first report pack is finished and checked before anything else is added.
- Step 1
Reporting review
We look at the reports you produce today, where the data comes from and which decisions they support, then agree the measures that matter most.
- Step 2
Data map and definitions
We map each source, check data quality and write down how every measure is calculated. You get a fixed quote for the build.
- Step 3
First report pack
We build the reports your managers use most, test the numbers against your current figures and adjust until they match.
- Step 4
Automate and support
Reports refresh and send on schedule. We hand over documentation and our service desk supports changes as you grow.
05Is it a fit
When this service is the right call
We would rather point you to the right option than sell you a platform you do not need.
A strong fit Data reporting
- +Reports rebuilt by hand in Excel every month
- +Data spread across accounting, CRM, job and Microsoft 365 systems
- +Leaders who want one set of numbers that everyone accepts
- +A business that wants reporting supported by the same team as its IT
Probably another option We will say so
- ×Large data science or machine learning programmes, where a specialist data firm suits better
- ×One report from one system that already has good reporting built in
- ×Dashboards only, from data already in good shape: our Power BI service is enough

What sits behind the reports
A report is only as good as the systems underneath it. These are foundations we already build and run for WA businesses.

08Questions
Data reporting questions
What owners and finance managers ask before they start. Anything else, call 1300 787 429.
01What does a data reporting service include?
We connect the systems your figures come from and agree how each measure is calculated. Then we build the reports and dashboards, automate when they refresh and who receives them. We support them afterwards. It starts with a scoping call so the plan matches the reports you use.
02Can you combine our accounting system and CRM in one report?
Usually, yes. Most finance, CRM and job systems either connect directly or allow scheduled exports through an API. We check each system during the review and tell you what is possible before you commit. Where a connection needs building, it is part of the fixed quote.
03Do we need a data warehouse, or is Power BI enough?
Many small businesses do not need a warehouse. If your data comes from two or three systems in good shape, Power BI can connect to them directly. A central data store earns its place when you combine several sources, keep history the source systems drop or need faster reports. We recommend the smaller option when it will do the job.
04How much does it cost, and are we locked in?
Every project gets a fixed quote before we start, based on the number of sources and reports. Software licences such as Power BI are billed separately at Microsoft's price. Ongoing support can sit within our IT support plans.
05How long until we see the first report, and will it disrupt the team?
The data map sets out dates before the build starts. Most of the time goes into checking data and agreeing definitions, not drawing charts. We run new reports alongside your current ones until the numbers match, so nobody loses a report they rely on.
06We already have an IT person or a finance analyst. Where do you fit?
Alongside them. Your analyst knows the business and the numbers. We add the data connections, security and automation, then hand over documentation so they can keep improving the reports. If you have an IT person, we work with them on access and systems.
