MTA WA keeps its systems steady through growth and office moves

The Motor Trade Association of WA has represented the state's motor industry since 1934. We have managed its IT since 2013, rebuilding the infrastructure, supporting its internal team and protecting its data through several office relocations.

01The challenge

Where MTA WA started

MTA WA advocates for and supports businesses across Western Australia's motor industry. As its responsibilities grew and it moved offices, it needed IT that stayed steady through the change.

Legacy systems

Ageing systems could not keep pace with MTA WA's growing role and reach.

Office relocations

Several moves meant IT had to relocate without disrupting staff or members.

Support for a busy team

Multiple offices and a dynamic team needed dependable support, working with the internal IT staff.

02What we did

Stable systems, shared support

We rebuilt the foundations for redundancy, then became an extension of MTA WA's own IT team.

Infrastructure rebuild

A full server and network upgrade to a virtualised environment with redundancy across multiple hosts.
